Process of editing my final images

I now have images I am happy with for my final book but while I was editing the images from my last shoot I suddenly had the idea of cutting the subject out and placing it on another background from my previous background shoot. I tried it out with one image and it worked really well so I decided to carry on and edit all of the images in the same way.


All of the images with the model had already been edited identically with the same settings so I just had to match up the background images identically now. The editing was quite quick the more I did as I got the hang of it.


Below are the steps I did to editing my final images:

1. Open background image

2. Open image that is being moved onto background

3. Use the Quick Selection tool and cut around the model

4. Use Move tool to place subject onto background

5. Flatten the image

6. Crop and straighten the image by 1.0

This then leaves the final image:
