I've been really ill the past week or so which has meant I've not been able to get out and shoot until this week. I didn't want to go too far as I didn't want to wear myself out. I decided to go somewhere just up the road from me to practice shooting at a caravan park before I go up to the caravan park that is personal to me.
Why Finlake?
I want to shoot at the caravan park that I visit each year but because I haven't been very well I wanted to do a test shoot in a park closer to where I live. I have also visited this place a lot in my lifetime so it does hold some memories to me but maybe not as many as the other places I'm visiting. I went to Finlake not really knowing what I wanted to shoot apart from the holiday homes.
Where did I want to shoot?
There has been a lot of renovation going on at Finlake at the moment so I wanted to take pictures of the new buildings as well as the holiday homes I guess so that I could see what had changed since I last went and made memories. This shoot wasn't really planned as I had another shoot planned but because I was ill I thought it wasn't the right decision to carry on with the shoot elsewhere this week.

I took more images than I thought I would but I didn't get as many images of the holiday homes as I wanted because although it was quiet as it's still not the Easter holidays there was still people in their holiday homes and I felt like I was intruding going round with a camera when I don't actually have a holiday home myself but it will be different when I do my campsite shoot soon.
I have looked through these images and found a few which I like but I don't think they will be appearing in my book as they don't have as much memory linked to them as the other places I have photographed. I took a couple of images purposely blurry again so that I have some blurred images from each shoot just in case I decide to use them. I think the blurred ones are my favourite from this shoot.
