Pick a reflective model (you can pick another or make your own if you like!) and apply it to a piece of work that you have made.
Think about what you could change for your upcoming projects, or different approaches that you could take for further works
I chose Rolfe's reflective model as I felt it worked better for me and would help me think more in depth about my work. I decided to reflect a piece of work that I did over the reading week because I know these definitely need improving.
What?
What happened?
I shot images in my garden for an Alice in Wonderland themed shoot but didn't turn out quite how I wanted them. I want them to be shot on location with objects hanging from the ceiling and more on the table. My model also had a smile which I didn't want.
What did I do?
I set up my set in the garden and set my camera up on a tripod and petit on a 10 second timer to shoot 10 images after the timer was up.
What was I trying to achieve?
I was trying to achieve images that looked like they had a fantasy element to them and images that were all in a sequence.
What was good or bad about the experiences?
I wouldn't say there was anything bad because without doing this shoot I wouldn't know what needed to be improved.
So what?
So what is the importance of this?
If I didn't have these images I wouldn't be able to make my final products of a book for my 201 project.
So what more do I need to know about this?
I don't think I need to know anymore about this but I do know what I want to improve on these images.
So what have I learnt about this?
To shoot elsewhere next time and to put more in the frame.
Now what?
Now what could I do?
Think of different places I could shoot
What I could hang
Smaller furniture
Shoot further out leaving more to look out in the frame
Now what do I need to do?
Organise and plan a shoot and start shooting different images
Now what I might do?
Think about alternative models
Now what might be the consequences of this action?
That the images don't turn out how I wanted them
The weather isn't good
The models might not turn up
My props might not look right
