In the afternoon after our online booking system induction and our DSLR induction we were allowed to rent the DSLR's out and use them for a little shoot for an hour or so. Our shoot title was blurred images, portraits, lines and blue. This meant we had to go round the college and find interesting things to photograph that we could make blurry. We tried to put two titles into one image for example we had a blurred people with three of us sat in a line one behind each other. This is the picture:

We also did another image which was a bit blurred which was rows of books in the library. We made the image out of focus a round the edges but a little more focused in the centre.

Another image we took was a portrait of Faye in our group. We got her to sit on a sofa and just to look down the camera lense. This is the image we came out with:

We did edit the picture of Faye (above) to make tihe background a bit more yellowy to make the light that is shining down on Faye more noticable and enhanced.
The last image we took was of a painting on a wall in the college as we were walking up a flight of stairs. The painting was very patterened so we made that a blurred image too.

We seemed to focus most of our final images on blurred images but for me personally I focused on blurred images more because I hadn't taken blurred images on purpose using a lens like on the Nikon d90 I have only ever taken blurry images by accident, so that's why I focused on blurred images more. We didn't seem to take many blue images but I think that's because around college the colours that are oon the walls are only very neutral so blue doesn't really feature inside the college.
