Haytor shoot

Today the weather has finally been nice and I took a trip up to the moors to shoot for my Final Major Project. As I had already done a test shoot at Stover on Wednesday I knew what I had to improve on. When I did my shoot at Stover my camera was on ISO auto which meant that my camera was using a really high ISO which wasn't necessary and made all of my images really grainy. Before this shoot I made sure that I googled how to turn the ISO auto off.
I tried to stick to my shoot plan as much as possible as this would hopefully ensure that I got the best results on my shoot. The first thing I said in my shoot plan was about the equipment. I said that I would use a Nikon d90 and a tripod. I did use both of these however I didn't use my tripod for any panoramic shots as I thought that the angle that my camera was on the tripod it got all of the landscape in the picture that I wanted. I did use the tripod to successfully create straight horizons across my images.
I said for the locations that I would visit Haytor and possibly Widecombe. In the end I only managed to shoot on Haytor as I didn't have time to get to Widecombe and shoot in time.
I said that I would have all day to shoot my landscapes but in the end I only had the afternoon as the weather wasn't too great this morning and I had other things to do also.
As I said in my shoot plan I didn't use any models and wasn't required to use any.
I said in my shoot plan that I was going to drive up on my own but in the end I ended up going up with some of my family so I had the assistance there if I needed it. I didn't need it but my family members did offer to carry my bags for me.
As far as post production goes I didn't need to edit my images that much, I brought the colours out a bit more by using enhancing the brightness and brought some of the little bits of blue that were in the sky out by using the burn tool across the sky finally, I put the clarity up a little bit but that's most of the editing I did so still quite minimal.
