This morning we had a briefing on what this week was all about and what we would be thinking about during the course of the week. This week we will be thinking about caring about what we do. This means that we should think about what we want to reach in the future and care about how we get there. In order to do this we had to work in small groups to create a visual manifesto about something we believed in or disagreed in. We decided to do our manifesto on 'Free the Nipple' as people in my group feel strongly about the subject. We looked at different people who had created visual manifestos using newspaper cuttings so we diecided to do something similar. We decided to have writing spelt out from newspaper letters and then have a womenly figure drawn out with the newspaper cuttings stuck over the top.

This is what every group came up with, ideas included Free the Nipple (also created by other groups), bad fashion sense, hunger and politics.

This was our final visual manifesto to do wuth 'Free the Nipple'. We added some words and quotes which we felt related to our topic area. As you can see we tried to make the topic stand out on paper as it would if you were to see it in real life at the moment by having the writing across the breats almost to make a point that at the moment this is seen as unexceptable but we hope that one day it will be seen as exceptable.
