This morning we were put in pairs to be peer assessed. We had to choose two photos of theirs that we liked the best and why we liked them and if they could imporve on anything. It also gave us the opportunity to look at one anothers social media platforms and websites.
My partner looked at all my social media platforms and my website and then chose two of my photos that he really liked and gave me some good feedback and some constructive criticism for me to think about next time.
My partner first chose my portrait based on the David Bailey photograph based on Twiggy. He said: 'Really cool photograph. Exposure perfect. Contrast spot on. Maybe try cropping in tight to get a more David Bailey style shot. Could try different angles to make her appearance difference.' I thought this feedback was very true and made me think about usingdifferent angles in portraits in the future.
The last picture my partner chose was the picture of the village of Clovelly. My partner said 'Love this photo. Exposure is amazing. Contrast is perfect. Love how you have sky and sea in the shot. The colours are awesome, love the wide angle look. Could have lost the pole in the bottom right of the frame.' This feedback is very true as I hadn't really noticed that their was a slight corner of the pole in my picture so has taught me that I should look at the surrounding area of my picture.

I then looked at my partners social media platforms and website and chose two images that I liked of his. When he showed me his social media platforms and his website they looked ery professional and when you google searched his name it would automatically come up with his website and social media platforms.

The images I chose where of a motorbike at a race and a portrait using good depth of field. The first picture I gave feedback on was the motorbike one, I said: 'I like how this image is focused entirely on the motorcyclist and that the other motorcyclists in the background are blurred out using depth of field. There is also a shadow in the top corners of the photo which really highlights the motorcyclist. I can imagine this image on an advert or something similar, it’s really good.' The last photo I commented on was the depth of field portrait: 'I like the way that the model in this image is the focus and that everything has been blurred out with the use of a lot of depth of field. The use of natural lighting in this image is really effective as it brings the sunlight through the leaves and onto the image.'
I quite enjoyed this task because it meant that I got feedback from someone different on my different platforms and my website and I got to look at his platforms to get inspiration.
