Movie morning!

This morning was a very different Wednesday morning than normal. We went to the cinema! It was part of an educational program where we were invited to the cinema to watch the new film that is coming out soon 'He Named me Malala'. The film was all about Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani girl who got shot by the taliban for standing up for girls rights. The movie was very good even though the popcorn was very expensive!

After the film had finished we were supposed to get the opportunity to video call Malala but unfortunately the connection was lost and we couldn't get hold of her so we didn't get to talk to her which was disappointing as it would have been a once in a lifetime opportunity. I loved going to the cinema as it was a morning out of college and gave us something different to do even though we finished later than college normally does but that didn't matter.

Once the film had finished because we couldn't video call Malala we did end up finishing earlier than expected so it gave me time to do some shopping with a friend before my train home which was fun.
