To get some more inspiration I tried to look at some artists that specialise or who have a small portfolio on culture. I didn't find many people who I liked who focused on culture but I found Steve McCurry who is known for his famous portrait of the Afghan girl portrait which appeared in the National Geographic magazine originally. Although, these pictures aren't to do with India which is what I was focusing on but it is to do with culture so I was intrigued. I love the powerful effect this image gives off it really shows the emotion that the girl is giving out.

I thought that Steve McCurry was a good photographer to look at because he does the sort of photograpy that I was aiming to do so his style really gave me inspiration as he has a very wide portfolio of cultural work.

However, Steve McCurry was the only culture photographer that I could find that I liked as everyone else who I searched only had a couple of cultural photographers as they didn't base on culture/travel photography.
