Choosing images

This morning I have been editing my images ready for my final images for The Square. To help decide on my images and what needed to be done to each image I put all of my images into a contact sheet and annotated it. I analysed all of my pictures that were on my contact sheet and labelled them with what I thought would make them better and whether I wanted to keep them or not. I rounded all of my pictures down to about a dozen that I liked and that's how I managed to find some of the final images I am thinking of using.

I have made a contact sheet including all of my images so that I can go through them all and say which ones I like and am going to edit and possibly use and which ones I'm not going to keep at all. The images I have decided to keep and take a closer look at are numbers 0068 to 0076, 0077, 0066 on my bottom sheet. Numbers 0016 to 0019, 0021, 0022, 0025, 0027, 0028 to 0031, 0034 to 0039, 0050 to 0054, 0056 to 0064. I am going to keep these because from the little preview they look like they could be edited to make them look good but I have decided to get rid of all of my other photos because they are too dark or haven't got the right amount of light so won't be worth editing. I decided not to edit that many images because when I opened them up in Photoshop they didn't look as good as I wanted them to so I decided to give them a miss.

I am torn between both of hese images of my mum and my sister. I am thinking about the one on the right for my mum and the one on the right of my sister as well. I am thinking about the one on the right of my mum because it's a more close - up picture. For my sister I am more drawn to the right hand side because there ae more shadows on her face.
I edited my pictures on a program called Adobe Camera Raw. Camera Raw allowed me to edit my pictures without ruining the quality of the picture. Once I finished in Camera Raw I opened the photos up in Photoshop to do any last bits of editing but not too much as it would ruin my images.
I have also been thinking about how I could exhibit my work. If I end up having two pictures then I will get two prints done from the Print Lab and the same if I have three images. In order to get the prints the correct size I will need to go up to the Print Lab to see what size I want my images to be before I work out what size I need to make my images. I don't know yet how much space I have to be able to exhibit my work so that will determine the size I can make my images.
