Street Photography shoot

After our contextual lecture we were let loose to go and do some street photography which I have never done properly on a shoot before. I was a bit nervous about doing this shoot because street photography is the type of photography that everyone gets worried about because they don't know what people are going to say and what actions they might take. We went round in a group and asked different people if they would mind if we took their portrait and we had most of the people say no. We all respected their wishes as we didn't know if they had a personal reason as to why they didn't wnt their picture taken. However, their was a busker on the streets who was in a good place for us to take pictures of. He was singing at the time so we mimed to him to ask if he minded and he put his thumbs up to say that it was fine to take pictures of him. Afterwards we did give him some money because he was a good singer and after all allowed us to take pictures of him.

I like this image because you can see the emotion of how the busker is really enjoying himself while singing but the image does look a bit out of focus. The colours are still very vibrant which I like.

This is my favourite image out of the three because the angle is just right and I love the composition of the colours in the background compared to the busker.
