Today we have been over to Mount Edgecumbe to participate in a beach clean. By doing a beach clean today it has meant that we have really been able to do some primary research towards the client briefs. We went onto the beach in order to help keep Mount Edgecumbe clean and to really get an idea of how much rubbish can get washed up on a tiny stretch of beach. There was so much rubbish on the beach that I couldn't actually believe that I saw that much rubbish. Us as a group of 5 managed to fill a whole black bin bag full of rubbish but could easily have filled at least another bag. As a class we must have collected about 6 black bin bags in total full of rubbish and that was no where near all of the rubbish off of the beach. We also did some panoramic shooting which I tried out but wasn't very successful. In order to shoot a panoramic image you need to use a tripod. The tripod must not move but the camera needs to move with a third of what was in the last image in the start of the new image this then creates a series of images that need to be merged together on Photoshop in order to create a panoramic. Unfortunately, my panoramic image didn't turn out properly as my tripod must have moved and made my panoramic miss lots of detail out however I did manage to take a panoramic image on my phone which made making a panoramic a lot easier.
