Final Retouching

This morning I felt that some of my images that I edited yesterday needed to be edited a little bit more in order for them to look a little bit more appealing, so I decided to edit a couple of my images a little bit more so that I was happy with them.

Before this image above was still very dark even after editing so I tried to make it so that the background could be lighter without effecting the colour of the crisp packet. I couldn't manage to do that but what I could manage to do was to change the vibrance down to -100% which makes the background look more black and white but makes the crisp packet stand out more. I turned the saturation up which has made the crisp packet look more vibrant which I like.

With this image all I needed to do was try to brighten the image without making the end of the ice cream spoon look really bright and look odd in the picture. I managed to brighten the image in Photoshop without making the spoon look too odd but then I remembered the burn tool in Photoshop which I thought could be used to make the spoon look a bit more toned down but as I started to go over the spoon with the burn tool it made the spoon look too dark so I only used the burn tool a little bit on this image.
Overall, I am happier with these images as now the subject stands out a bit more and the whole image loks brighter.
