A day in the life...

This morning I have completed my previous assignment before 10:00 (which was the deadline), so I got given the new assignment brief early so that I could read through it to try and get my head around it. First of all, I saw the title 'day in the life...'. My first thoughts when I saw the title was that it reminded me of my first ever assignment brief back in September, 'My Visual Diary'. I then opened the booklet up and read through the assignment outline. The first thing I saw was the word 'your' and 'you' written in red so what I got from that was this assignment was all abot ME!
To start off the project outline they are asking us to begin the assignment by recording a day in my life away from college. From waking up, to going to sleep but we must record everything. When I first read this I was thinking that my life away from college is pretty boring as I work everyday that I'm not at college and obviously I won't be able to record my day while I'm at work. So at the moment I'm starting to think about how I can record my day in order for it to look interesting.
This mini film is the starting point to the new assignment and has a submission date for next week so in the next week I need to make my life look interesting.
After this little task is complete next week the rest is basically up to us. I will have a week to research what I have documented which will then become my inspiration. I then will have a week to write a proposal of what I want to create and achieve at the end of the assignment - my proposal can be changed if I need too. After my proposal is written I can then carry on with completing my assignment.
This assignment is a 14 week long assignment so is a lot longer than any other assignment that I have ever done but I think that it could be quite a rushed assignment.
