Haytor - Location Scout

This morning I went up to Haytor to do a location scout but it didn't go as well as I had hoped. The weather today has been really windy and rainy so by going up on the moors it made the weather ten times worse, I did manage to get some pictures however. I had to use my phone to take the pictures as my camera has run out of battery and I didn't have time to charge the battery this morning.

I managed to get some pictures of the Dartmoor ponies which I didn’t really want pictures of because there are a lot of pictures of the Dartmoor pony but I couldn’t see anything else. I tried to take pictures of where Haytor should have been but there was so much fog that I couldn’t see a thing. On the way back from the moors we came across a dilemma, a tree fell down in the middle of the road so we were trapped on the moors! Luckily we found our way home pretty easily and quickly so we didn’t have too much trouble getting home.

I am definitely going to go to the moors again but I need to make sure that the weather is right before I go as I don’t want to go there and not to get any good pictures, but knowing the English weather that might be a one off day!
