Plymouth Hoe: Before and after post production

After I had finished my shoot at Plymouth Hoe I came back and started editing my pictures. When I looked through all of my images I looked to see which ones I liked and which ones I liked but would need more editing. With the images that didn't need much editing I left until last as they wouldn't take as long so I started with the images that needed more editing.

The image above is one of the original images from my shoot at Plymouth Hoe. With this image I decided that I didn't like the bottom half of the image so I cropped the image from the bottom to just above the sea wall. Once I had cropped it to where I wanted it, I straightened the image slightly. I then noticed that I had a bit of the bush in the corner of the right hand side of the image so I then used the clone tool to turn it into the sea.

The image above is my final image after editing. I am a lot happier with this image as it focuses the eye straight on the landscape instead of focusing the eye on lots of different things like it did on the original image. I am very happy with how this image has turned out and I like how there is more sky than sea as the sky shows a lot more mood from the clouds in the picture.
