Stover shoot

Today after college as it was such a beautiful day I decided to go to Stover to do a test shoot before I go to the moors, I plan to go to the moors on Friday as long as the weather is nice.

I had one problem which was quite a big problem which I didn't realise while I was on my shoot. My ISO was on auto which meant that while I was on my shoot y ISO was on 3200 the whole time.

With this image above you can't really see that the image is very grainy but if you zoom in a little you can. While I was editing this image I couldn't tell that it was grainy but as I edited it a bit more it was coming out even grainier as I brightened the image a little at a time. However, I do like this image as I love that the main focus from the lens is very central in the image and it's not at an angle. I also like the colours in this image as the blues and greens really stand out.

This image above is probably my favourite image from the shoot although this is still grainy. This image is taken more to one side but if you follow the stream with your eyes it ends up making your eyes meet in the middle of the image. Again this image stands out with a lot of blues and greens. I have turned the clarity up on this image which I think is why I like this image so much as I always like images that look very sharp.

This image is probably my least favourite image as I think the image is too bright. I feel that although this image has a lot of blue and green it makes the image look quite exposed and not sheltered enough.

If I was to do this shoot again I would make sure that I check my camera settings before I go out on a shoot anywhere. I think that my images came out grainy because my camera was on ISO auto but also because it was very sunny so it made the camera think that it needed to let more light into the lens. I have definately learnt from this shoot ready for my shoots later in the week.
